A l'automne 2009, l'ancestral cyclo-cross à l'américaine de l'île Aucard quittait ses pénates pour des problèmes d'adduction d'eau. Depuis cette date, il se dispute au parc Grandmont, un site boisé et accidenté situé au sud de Tours.
