C'est la fête à Saint-Maurice-ès-Allier

La fête du village de Saint-Maurice-ès-Allier se déroulera ce week-end. Retraite aux flambeaux, lâcher de ballons, barbecue, concerts, brocante, repas champêtre, célébration paroissiale et baptême de moto sont au programme de cette fête qui, naguère, se prolongeait le lundi avec la traditionnelle course cycliste de la Saint-Maurice.

Le Prix de la fête à Saint-Maurice-ès-Allier a été organisé par le Cycle Olympique Chamaliérois de 1962 à 1985.

- Epreuve très spéciale avec dans la traversée du bourg une rampe au pourcentage impressionnant que les concurrents avaient à gravir trente-cinq fois pour une distance totale de 68 kilomètres. Avec un tel « mur » au menu, il n’est pas étonnant de constater que seuls d’excellents grimpeurs figurent au palmarès.
